About Me

Welcome!

My name is Mandeep Tumber-Bhela, PhD (Prounciation: MUN-deep TUM-bur-BAY-luh; Pronouns: She/Her) and I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 27706) in California. I am a first generation immigrant who identifies as bicultural (Indian-American). I am trilingual in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Within my practice, I am deeply committed to providing evidence-based and solution-focused treatment practices individualized for my patients’ healthcare outcomes. My goal is to assist my patients in having a balanced lifestyle that promotes 0ver all wellness.

My theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), however, I draw from various established modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) just to name a few. I value the emphasis of culturally responsive care where I utilize cultural humility, integration of culture and racial identity, as well as strength-based approaches. My work is inclusive of BIPOC and LGBTQI communities.

I hope to provide accessible, flexible, and private mental health care via a telehealth platform.
